Electrical & Instrumentation Team Leader
Lead electrical and instrumentation maintenance to keep plant equipment and systems safe, reliable, and efficient. You will coordinate maintenance planning, guide technical troubleshooting, monitor performance, and develop your team while ensuring compliance with operational and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities
- Formulate preventive maintenance schedules with associated procedures and checklists, and periodically review their effectiveness based on operational feedback and field experience.
- Oversee all electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities, including breakdown and failure repair jobs.
- Lead troubleshooting activities and support the team in resolving electrical and instrumentation faults efficiently.
- Coordinate with other maintenance sections to identify and resolve plant breakdowns and operational issues.
- Prepare reports on major failures and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Conduct stage and final inspections for repair jobs completed by contractors on-site or off-site and witness required testing before acceptance.
- Assist in preparing specifications for new electrical and instrumentation equipment when required.
- Maintain adequate stock levels of spare parts, tools, and electrical consumables.
- Monitor maintenance activities during shutdowns and breakdowns to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with standards.
- Verify calibration and testing of protective relays and other electrical protection systems during shutdown periods.
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and modify control systems and instrumentation systems.
- Monitor power consumption and ensure it remains within targeted operational levels.
- Handle fleet-related electrical duties and technical issues as assigned by the Technical Manager or Plant Director.
- Ensure the quality, accuracy, timeliness, and effectiveness of reports and KPI monitoring.
- Supervise, coach, and develop team members, including setting annual objectives and conducting regular performance evaluations.
- Support effective personnel management and coordinate closely with line management to resolve operational and manpower issues.
- Ensure the security, confidentiality, and integrity of all information assets in accordance with the company’s Information Security Policies.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards, procedures, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance within industrial plants, manufacturing, FMCG, or processing industries.
