You&#8217;ll report to the CFO\/CEO and play a key role in strategic decision-making and process improvements.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Financial Reporting &amp; Compliance<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in adherence to IFRS and Sudanese GAAP.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee audit processes and liaise with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate reporting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Budgeting &amp; Forecasting<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead planning for annual budgets and perform variance analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Develop rolling forecasts to support operational decision-making in agriculture, processing, and export logistics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Taxation &amp; Regulatory Affairs<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all Sudanese tax obligations (corporate tax, VAT, duties).<\/li>\n<li>Prepare tax returns and manage relationships with tax authorities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Internal Controls &amp; Risk Management<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, implement, and monitor robust internal control systems across financial and operational processes.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively identify and manage financial risks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cost &amp; Inventory Accounting<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee accurate cost recording across procurement, production, packaging, and logistics functions.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain stringent inventory accounting controls.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cash Flow &amp; Treasury Management<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions\u2014including banking, forex, and trade finance.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and optimize payment schedules, receipts, and liabilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>ERP &amp; Systems Oversight<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead implementation and maintenance of accounting modules within ERP systems.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure integration with SCM, procurement, production, and sales modules.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Team Leadership &amp; Development<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage a team of accountants and finance professionals, drive performance and continuous development.<\/li>\n<li>Standardize accounting procedures and promote best practices across the finance function.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Stakeholder Collaboration<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide timely financial insights to senior leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Support operational teams by offering financial guidance to enhance profitability and efficiency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ideal Candidate Profile<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s in Accounting or Finance; CPA\/ACCA\/CIMA is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory roles preferably in manufacturing, agribusiness, or FMCG sectors.<\/li>\n<li>Deep knowledge of IFRS, Sudanese tax laws, and best accounting practices.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with ERP accounting modules (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally).<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English and Arabic; proficiency in international financial reporting standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About Morouj<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Morouj is one of Sudan\u2019s largest agribusinesses, founded in 2005.
