You will play a key role in maintaining product availability, optimizing logistics costs, and ensuring seamless operations from suppliers to customers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong> Logistics &amp; Distribution Operations<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>o Coordinate end-to-end logistics activities from procurement to final delivery across local and export markets.<br \/>\no Ensure timely distribution of finished goods to warehouses, distributors, and customers to avoid stock shortages.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong> Transportation &amp; Shipment Management<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>o Plan and manage transportation schedules to ensure on-time delivery in a fast-paced FMCG environment.<br \/>\no Handle export shipments, including documentation, customs clearance, and coordination with freight forwarders.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong> Inventory &amp; Warehouse Coordination<\/strong><br \/>\no Coordinate with warehouse teams to maintain accurate stock records and efficient storage practices.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong> Supply Chain Coordination<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>o Work closely with procurement, production, and sales teams to align supply with demand.<br \/>\no Support demand planning and replenishment activities to ensure continuous product availability.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong> Compliance &amp; Documentation<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>o Ensure compliance with local regulations, export\/import requirements, and company policies.<br \/>\no Maintain accurate documentation for shipments, inventory, and logistics transactions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong> Cost Control &amp; Efficiency<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>o Monitor logistics costs (transportation, warehousing, handling) and identify cost-saving opportunities.<br \/>\no Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery speed and operational efficiency.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong> Systems &amp; Reporting<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>o Utilize ERP systems to track shipments, inventory, and logistics performance.<br \/>\no Prepare reports on delivery performance, stock levels, and logistics KPIs.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong> Risk &amp; Issue Management<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>o Identify potential supply chain disruptions and implement corrective actions.<br \/>\no Resolve delivery delays, shortages, and logistics issues proactively.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong> Stakeholder Coordination<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>o Liaise with suppliers, distributors, transporters, and third-party logistics providers (3PL).<br \/>\no Collaborate internally to ensure smooth execution of supply chain activities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ideal Candidate Profile<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.<br \/>\n\u2022 3\u20135+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain, preferably within FMCG or manufacturing.<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong understanding of distribution, Logistics management, and transportation operations.<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience with ERP systems.<br \/>\n\u2022 Good knowledge of import\/export processes and customs procedures.<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong problem-solving, coordination, and organizational skills.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand FMCG environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About Morouj<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Morouj is one of Sudan\u2019s largest agribusinesses, founded in 2005.
