You will coordinate maintenance planning, guide technical troubleshooting, monitor performance, and develop your team while ensuring compliance with operational and safety requirements.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> Khartoum North (Bahri)<br \/><strong>Job type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:careers@morouj.com?subject=Electrical%20%26%20Instrumentation%20Team%20Leader\" class=\"morouj-apply\">Apply by email<\/a> \u00b7 <a href=\"https:\/\/morouj.com\/ar\/work-at-morouj\/\">View all vacancies<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Key responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Formulate preventive maintenance schedules with associated procedures and checklists, and periodically review their effectiveness based on operational feedback and field experience.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee all electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities, including breakdown and failure repair jobs.<\/li>\n<li>Lead troubleshooting activities and support the team in resolving electrical and instrumentation faults efficiently.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with other maintenance sections to identify and resolve plant breakdowns and operational issues.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare reports on major failures and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct stage and final inspections for repair jobs completed by contractors on-site or off-site and witness required testing before acceptance.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in preparing specifications for new electrical and instrumentation equipment when required.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain adequate stock levels of spare parts, tools, and electrical consumables.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor maintenance activities during shutdowns and breakdowns to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with standards.<\/li>\n<li>Verify calibration and testing of protective relays and other electrical protection systems during shutdown periods.<\/li>\n<li>Design, develop, test, maintain, and modify control systems and instrumentation systems.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor power consumption and ensure it remains within targeted operational levels.<\/li>\n<li>Handle fleet-related electrical duties and technical issues as assigned by the Technical Manager or Plant Director.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the quality, accuracy, timeliness, and effectiveness of reports and KPI monitoring.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise, coach, and develop team members, including setting annual objectives and conducting regular performance evaluations.<\/li>\n<li>Support effective personnel management and coordinate closely with line management to resolve operational and manpower issues.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the security, confidentiality, and integrity of all information assets in accordance with the company&#8217;s Information Security Policies.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with company safety standards, procedures, and environmental regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications and experience<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5\u20137 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance within industrial plants, manufacturing, FMCG, or processing industries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Skills and competencies<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Leadership and Team Management.<\/li>\n<li>Problem Solving and Decision Making.<\/li>\n<li>Planning and Organizing.<\/li>\n<li>Communication and Coordination.<\/li>\n<li>Analytical Thinking.<\/li>\n<li>Technical Troubleshooting.<\/li>\n<li>Time Management.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to Detail.<\/li>\n<li>Performance Management.<\/li>\n<li>Continuous Improvement Mindset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>About Morouj<\/h2>\n<p>Founded in 2005, Morouj is a Sudanese agribusiness working across crop sourcing, processing, packaging, and export logistics.
