You will direct maintenance strategy, develop the team, manage costs, and drive improvements in plant reliability, energy efficiency, and safety.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> Khartoum North (Bahri)<br \/><strong>Job type:<\/strong> Full-time<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:careers@morouj.com?subject=Electrical%20%26%20Instrumentation%20Manager\" class=\"morouj-apply\">Apply by email<\/a> \u00b7 <a href=\"https:\/\/morouj.com\/ar\/work-at-morouj\/\">View all vacancies<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Key responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement Electrical and Instrumentation maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Lead and manage all electrical, instrumentation, automation, and control system activities across the plant.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure maximum equipment reliability and minimum downtime through effective preventive and corrective maintenance programs.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee troubleshooting and root cause analysis for major electrical and instrumentation failures.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and manage plant shutdowns, preventive maintenance schedules, and emergency breakdown activities.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the performance and efficiency of electrical systems, motors, drives, PLCs, instrumentation, and control systems.<\/li>\n<li>Review and approve technical specifications for new projects, upgrades, and equipment installations.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with HSE standards, electrical regulations, and company operational procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Manage department budgets, maintenance costs, and spare parts inventory to ensure cost-effective operations.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with Production and other departments to support uninterrupted plant operations.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise contractors and external service providers during maintenance and project activities.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate and improve maintenance KPIs, reliability performance, and energy consumption.<\/li>\n<li>Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to automation, energy efficiency, and operational reliability.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure calibration, testing, and inspection of protection systems and critical instrumentation equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare technical reports, maintenance analysis, and management presentations.<\/li>\n<li>Develop team capabilities through coaching, training, performance management, and succession planning.<\/li>\n<li>Support company expansion projects and plant modification initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and security of all company information assets under assigned responsibilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications and experience<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree is an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 7\u201310 years of experience in Electrical and Instrumentation maintenance within industrial or manufacturing environments.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in FMCG, processing plants, manufacturing, or industrial operations is preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Skills and competencies<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Strategic Leadership and Team Management.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Technical Troubleshooting Skills.<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance Planning and Reliability Management.<\/li>\n<li>Budgeting and Cost Control.<\/li>\n<li>Decision-Making and Problem Solving.<\/li>\n<li>Strong Communication and Coordination Skills.<\/li>\n<li>Project Management and Execution.<\/li>\n<li>Performance Monitoring and KPI Management.<\/li>\n<li>Continuous Improvement and Process Optimization.<\/li>\n<li>Risk Assessment and Safety Compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Change Management and Innovation.<\/li>\n<li>Coaching and Employee Development.<\/li>\n<li>Time Management and Organizational Skills.<\/li>\n<li>Analytical Thinking and Technical Reporting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>About Morouj<\/h2>\n<p>Founded in 2005, Morouj is a Sudanese agribusiness working across crop sourcing, processing, packaging, and export logistics.
