You&#8217;ll report to the CFO\/CEO and play a key role in strategic decision-making and process improvements.<\/p>\r\n\t\t<h3><a href=\"#\" target=\"_self\">Ideal Candidate Profile<\/a><\/h3><ul>\r\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s in Accounting or Finance; CPA\/ACCA\/CIMA is a plus.<\/li>\r\n<li>7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory roles preferably in manufacturing, agribusiness, or FMCG sectors.<\/li>\r\n<li>Deep knowledge of IFRS, Sudanese tax laws, and best accounting practices.<\/li>\r\n<li>Hands-on experience with ERP accounting modules (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally).<\/li>\r\n<li>Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.<\/li>\r\n<li>Fluent in English and Arabic; proficiency in international financial reporting standards.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<h2>\r\n\t\t\tKey Responsibilities\t<\/h2>\r\n<h3>\r\n\t\t\tFinancial Reporting &#038; Compliance\t<\/h3>\r\n\t<ul>\r\n<li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in adherence to IFRS and Sudanese GAAP.<\/li>\r\n<li>Oversee audit processes and liaise with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate reporting.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3>\r\n\t\t\tBudgeting &#038; Forecasting\t<\/h3>\r\n\t<ul>\r\n<li>Lead planning for annual budgets and perform variance analysis.<\/li>\r\n<li>Develop rolling forecasts to support operational decision-making in agriculture, processing, and export logistics.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\t\t<h3>\t\r\n\tTaxation &#038; Regulatory Affairs<\/h3><ul>\r\n<li>Ensure compliance with all Sudanese tax obligations (corporate tax, VAT, duties).<\/li>\r\n<li>Prepare tax returns and manage relationships with tax authorities.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\t\t<h3>\t\r\n\tInternal Controls &#038; Risk Management<\/h3><ul>\r\n<li>Design, implement, and monitor robust internal control systems across financial and operational processes.<\/li>\r\n<li>Proactively identify and manage financial risks.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\t\t<h3>\t\r\n\tCost &#038; Inventory Accounting<\/h3><ul>\r\n<li>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Oversee accurate cost recording across procurement, production, packaging, and logistics functions.<\/li>\r\n<li>Maintain stringent inventory accounting controls.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\t\t<h3>\t\r\n\tCash Flow &#038; Treasury Management<\/h3><ul>\r\n<li>Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions-including banking, forex, and trade finance.<\/li>\r\n<li>Monitor and optimize payment schedules, receipts, and liabilities.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\t\t<h3>\t\r\n\tERP &#038; Systems Oversight<\/h3><ul>\r\n<li>Lead implementation and maintenance of accounting modules within ERP systems.<\/li>\r\n<li>Ensure integration with SCM, procurement, production, and sales modules.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\t\t<h3>\t\r\n\tTeam Leadership &#038; Development<\/h3><ul>\r\n<li>Manage a team of accountants and finance professionals, drive performance and continuous development.<\/li>\r\n<li>Standardize accounting procedures and promote best practices across the finance function.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\t\t<h3>\t\r\n\tStakeholder Collaboration<\/h3><ul>\r\n<li>Provide timely financial insights to senior leadership.<\/li>\r\n<li>Support operational teams by offering financial guidance to enhance profitability and efficiency.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\t<h3><strong>About Morouj<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n<p>Morouj is one of Sudan&#8217;s largest agribusinesses, founded in 2005.
